About the Role

We are looking for a Class 5 Driver to join the Dunedin branch and support collections and deliveries for one of the company’s major customers. The role is centred on safe, timely freight handling and meeting delivery commitments. A current Class 5 licence with Dangerous Goods endorsement is essential for success in this position.

Work Schedule

This is a Monday to Friday role, with working hours from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Key Duties

• Handle freight safely during loading and unloading, including manual handling where required.
• Make sure freight reaches its destination without damage.
• Scan every item handled and ensure all freight is recorded correctly.
• Complete deliveries and pickups on schedule and in full.
• Follow all safety procedures and actively contribute to workplace safety practices.
• Drive in a safe, lawful, and compliant manner at all times.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organised, and presentable both inside and out.

What You Will Bring

• A clean full New Zealand Class 5 driver licence, which is mandatory.
• A Dangerous Goods endorsement, which is mandatory.
• A forklift licence with OSH certification is preferred.
• A strong customer service mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous experience driving on New Zealand roads.
