Cleaner-COP

Role Overview

Velociti Services is hiring a Cleaner to carry out on-site commercial cleaning duties at client facilities. This position focuses on routine custodial and janitorial work, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and removing waste.

Core Responsibilities

• Vacuum floors and clean edges where required.
• Dust surfaces and wipe down assigned areas.
• Clean and replenish supplies in restrooms and breakrooms.
• Wash windows as needed.
• Collect trash and move it to the designated disposal location.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Success Criteria

• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times.
• Work cooperatively with team members and maintain a team-first approach.
• Keep the work area neat and orderly.
• Adhere to company rules, procedures, and standards.
• Respond well to supervision and direction.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Step in when staffing shortages occur.
• Assist the shift lead in completing punch-list tasks.
• Use the correct personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a polished appearance and professional behavior.
• Understand the basics of customer service and client satisfaction.
• Be familiar with reporting systems and the working environment.
• Build trust through dependable work and conduct.

• Stay focused on providing a positive guest experience.
• Place safety as the highest priority.
• Develop respectful working relationships with teammates and guests.
• Follow guidance from the Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
• Coordinate work with other internal departments when needed.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
• Ability to climb small to medium stairways several times during the day.
• Comfort with standing for long periods.
