About the Company
Collecting Group is a fast-growing business focused on car and watch culture. Through its brands, Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting, the company is reshaping the auction space and continuing to expand.
Role Overview
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will support both Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting, delivering high-quality service to customers across Europe and internationally. This position plays an important part in improving support operations, managing pre- and post-auction queries, building client relationships, and spotting opportunities to strengthen retention and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer questions by email and phone in a timely, professional manner, covering a broad range of watch and car auction topics.
- Reach out proactively to customers to understand their needs, improve the overall experience, and keep engagement strong.
- Build trusted relationships with buyers and sellers so they feel supported throughout their auction journey.
- Log and update customer conversations, case information, and other relevant details accurately in Salesforce.
- Investigate and resolve issues quickly, flag recurring problems or trends, and escalate them to the right teams or managers when needed.
- Assist consignment teams during live auctions by responding to customer requests and helping operations run smoothly.
- Help improve customer service processes by suggesting changes that increase efficiency and satisfaction.
- Work closely with sales, tech, and upload teams to create a connected and consistent customer experience.
- Manage confidential customer information carefully and with discretion.
- Contribute with a strong, high-performing mindset.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or client services is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving ability with the confidence to propose practical improvements.
- Comfortable working with others and communicating clearly across teams, including sales and wider business functions.
- Able to perform well in a fast-moving scale-up environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to notice issues early.
- Genuinely motivated by delivering excellent customer outcomes.
- An interest in cars and watches is highly desirable, though not essential.
- Fluency in French, Italian, or German is strongly preferred; other European languages are also beneficial.
Location
This role is based in either the Paris office or the Munich office. Candidates must have full working rights for one of these locations.
