Overview
We are recruiting for a Haystack partner for a full-time Data Analyst role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This position focuses on delivering insight-rich analysis, building AI-supported analytics processes, and contributing to published industry data products used by executive leaders, business teams, customers, and stakeholders in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data-backed analysis and design AI-assisted analytical workflows that turn complex data into practical recommendations for leadership, internal teams, customers, and the automotive market.
- Gather, extract, cleanse, reshape, and interpret data from both proprietary and external sources while keeping recurring datasets and reports current.
- Develop and support automated data pipelines, reporting systems, and analytical tools, including the use of large language models and coding assistants in live data environments.
- Use statistical and econometric techniques to uncover patterns, test assumptions, and measure relationships, then present the results through clear summaries and visual outputs.
- Assess, pilot, and roll out generative AI solutions and automation methods that improve analytical speed and reduce manual effort.
- Help produce data products that monitor important industry indicators such as sales volume, average transaction prices, inventory trends, affordability, and credit conditions.
Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience.
- A minimum of 2 years working in Business Intelligence.
- Strong understanding of statistics and data profiling, with the ability to judge data quality and analytical usefulness.
- Solid SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing data, along with exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or AWS.
- Hands-on experience with statistical, econometric, or visualization tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Genuine interest in, or direct experience with, using AI/ML tools such as generative AI and large language models to speed up analysis.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range of $89,400 to $134,000, with possible additional compensation.
