About the Role

The Brehon Hotel & Spa is seeking a Day Porter to join its hospitality team in Killarney, County Kerry. This position suits someone who enjoys working in a guest-facing environment and contributing to a high standard of service throughout the hotel.

Key Duties

• Prepare conference and function spaces according to the conference booking sheet and the hotel’s required standards.
• Maintain a noticeable presence around the property so guest questions and requests are handled quickly and efficiently.
• Help guests with luggage and take room service requests when needed.
• Deliver room service in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep all public areas of the hotel consistently presentable and up to standard.
• Support food and beverage service as required.
• Respond to guest concerns and complaints courteously, with the aim of resolving issues and maintaining satisfaction.
• Carry out floor checks to help support guest safety and security.
