This full-time deli role is based at Point Campus in Dublin 1, within the Greater Dublin area. The position focuses on preparing fresh hot and cold deli items to a high standard while keeping customer satisfaction at the centre of everything done.
Main purpose of the job
The Deli Assistant is responsible for producing quality deli food, maintaining food presentation standards, and making sure customers receive prompt and positive service.
What the role involves
- Prepare customer orders across the fresh food counters, including sandwiches, rolls, hot food portions, and sliced meats, while following the store’s portion-control guidelines.
- Cook, assemble, and present food items throughout the day.
- Keep all fresh food counter displays looking excellent and well-maintained at all times.
- Share product knowledge, recipe ideas, and personal recommendations with customers to promote quality food.
- Handle customer questions and requests quickly, professionally, and in line with store procedures.
- Work in a way that reflects the Centra values of being proud, energetic, imaginative, and community-focused.
