Delivery Driver

Role overview

As a Delivery Driver at GSF Car Parts, you will be a key part of the branch team and one of the main faces customers interact with. The role focuses on timely parts delivery, strong service standards, and sharing useful feedback from customers and the market to help the branch perform well.

You will also represent the brand positively through every customer interaction and help support the wider operation by making sure goods are delivered within the agreed timeframes.

Main duties

• Transport products to customer locations within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
• Maintain consistently high standards of customer service during every delivery.
• Pass on customer and competitor feedback to the branch where relevant.
• Load the vehicle in line with company processes and procedures.
• Collect returns from customers when required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and support general vehicle upkeep.
• Assist in the warehouse when needed.
• Support inter-branch transfer deliveries when required.

Working pattern

The standard schedule is 41 average hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays included.

What you need

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Good familiarity with the branch's 40-mile delivery area.
• Previous experience working as a delivery driver.
• A clear understanding of what excellent customer service looks like.
• The ability to work to deadlines and maintain good timekeeping.
• A customer-first attitude, with motivation to go the extra mile.
