Job Overview

This is a full-time factory hand opportunity with an immediate start, paid at $33 per hour plus applicable penalties. The role is initially temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent.

About the Client

The employer is a Queensland manufacturer and supplier serving the HVAC and air conditioning sector. Its work covers the manufacture and distribution of ductwork, ventilation components, and air distribution products for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Key Duties

You will be based on the factory floor in a long-term Monday to Friday position, commencing at 6:30am. The role involves hands-on assembly and fabrication tasks, while working alongside your team and supervisor to support a safe workplace.

• Assemble air-conditioning cooling systems.
• Cut and shape sheet metal on site.
• Use silicone guns, tape guns, and similar hand tools to build products.
• Cooperate with crew members and supervisors to maintain safe working practices.

What You Need

The role suits someone who has a strong safety mindset, reliable attendance, and a desire for long-term work. A driver’s licence and dependable transport are required. Prior experience in production or manufacturing is preferred, and candidates must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
