About the Role

InAir is hiring a Front-End Engineer with deep React experience to create interface-heavy applications and Airtable Custom Interfaces. The position suits someone who enjoys delivering refined user interfaces, working with real business processes, and building app-style experiences over structured data.

You will collaborate closely with project managers and Solutions Consultants to turn requirements into maintainable, production-ready front-end experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build Airtable Custom Interfaces that support workflows and feel like full applications.
• Develop user-facing features end to end using React and TypeScript.
• Convert design concepts into polished, functional UI with strong attention to usability and visual detail.
• Connect the front end with data sources and a third-party SDK, with more details shared during the hiring process.
• Create reusable components, UI patterns, and standards that help the team move faster.
• Deliver work in small, high-quality releases and incorporate feedback quickly.
• Take part in English-language technical discussions and asynchronous communication.

Tech Stack / Tools

The role uses React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui or a comparable UI library such as Radix UI, Material UI, or Chakra UI, along with Airtable APIs and Custom Interfaces. Git and GitHub are also part of the workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with React and building responsive front-end applications.
• Confidence working in TypeScript codebases and using scalable front-end patterns.
• A strong product and UI mindset, including attention to loading states, edge cases, and performance.
• Comfort integrating external SDKs and learning from technical documentation independently.
• Ability to understand data models and how data moves from the back end into the interface.
• Experience shipping complete features or applications, not only isolated UI pieces.
• Strong written communication and collaboration skills across functions.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating Airtable Custom Interfaces or internal tools on Airtable.
• Familiarity with Airtable relational data concepts such as linked records, rollups, and lookups.
• Background in building design systems or reusable component libraries.
• Basic testing experience with tools like Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with internal tools platforms such as Retool or Superblocks.

• The UI structure and underlying data model stay aligned and easy to maintain.
