About the Employer
JMJ Funding Group is a California-based organization focused on real estate financing and trust deed investment services. The role is based in California and follows a standard full-time schedule from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for overseeing employee assistance functions, including program policies, counseling support, management guidance, and coordination of care standards. The role also contributes to strategic decisions within the functional area and works closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, structure, and manage policies and procedures for the company's Employee Assistance Program.
- Monitor inpatient and outpatient counseling services to ensure they align with organizational standards.
- Train managers on handling medical and behavioral issues effectively.
- Provide counseling support to employees participating in the program.
- Contribute insights to strategic decisions affecting the assigned functional area.
- Supervise work through subordinate managers and professionals in larger, moderately complex teams.
- Report to top management and support leadership-level initiatives.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree is required.
- At least 8 years of experience in Employee Assistance roles is expected.
- Applicants must hold one of the following California licenses: LCSW, MFT/LMFT, or a licensed psychologist (PhD).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to work effectively with staff and faculty.
- The candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting.
- Good computer proficiency is necessary for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
