About the Role

English 1 is offering an early-career opportunity for graduates and soon-to-be graduates who want to begin an international career in education. The position is based in China and is designed for candidates who are eager to travel, gain global work experience, and develop practical skills while earning a competitive salary. Previous teaching experience is not required, as full training, visa support, and guided career development are provided.

What You Will Do

• Lead English lessons for children and teenagers aged 3 to 16 in an engaging, interactive classroom environment.
• Use English 1’s curriculum and digital learning tools to deliver lively lessons.
• Offer helpful feedback and support students in improving their confidence and English ability.
• Participate in school-based events, cultural activities, and student engagement initiatives.

Additional Information

Hotel accommodation for the first two weeks will be treated as sponsorship once the first-year contract is successfully completed. The cost of the sponsored legal Z work visa will be reimbursed.

Who Should Apply

This role is suitable for applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, have a valid passport, and are genuinely interested in education, travel, and cultural exchange. ESL qualifications such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA are helpful, though support toward certification can be provided. A clean background check is required.
