Responsibilities

• Carry out daily housekeeping duties across resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas in line with established procedures and safety standards.
• Keep cleaning activity records up to date and escalate maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Apply infection prevention practices and universal precautions to help maintain a hygienic environment.
• Engage respectfully with residents, coworkers, and visitors while delivering strong customer service.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
• A positive attitude and the ability to communicate well with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership are important.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Comfort with repetitive work carried out continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to follow spoken and written directions and complete routine tasks every day.
• Residency within the service area is required.
