Role overview
Christian Louboutin is looking for an energetic and driven HR Intern to support a busy and fast-moving Human Resources function. This opportunity suits someone who is keen to build practical HR knowledge, enjoys working with people, and wants exposure to a broad generalist environment.
You will be based at the London Head Office as part of the Northern Europe HR team, with support provided to the wider EMEI HR group when needed.
What you will do
- Partner with the HR team to keep day-to-day administration running smoothly across the full employee journey.
- Keep personnel filing systems organised, current, and easy to navigate, including setting up files for new joiners.
- Enter and maintain records in the HRIS, databases, and other tracking tools.
- Help with onboarding activities such as preparing offer letters, contracts, probation confirmation letters, and ensuring completed documents are returned, filed, and stored correctly; coordinate with IT on equipment and system access where needed.
- Carry out employment reference checks.
- Track birthdays, work anniversaries, fixed-term contract end dates, and probation end dates, and add relevant reminders to managers’ and HR calendars; help distribute anniversary cards and gifts.
- Assist with offboarding, including preparing resignation acceptance letters and updating employee files.
- Support the EMEI team with vacancy posting in LinkedIn and ICIMS, candidate screening, and related administrative work.
- Maintain organisational charts for EMEI and the Northern Europe region.
- Cover reception during lunch breaks or holidays when required.
- Help coordinate events and place supply orders.
- Take on additional HR administration and project support as needed.
What we are looking for
- A strong interest in Human Resources and a genuine desire to support a high-energy team.
- Previous experience is not essential, though it would help you gain more from the internship.
- A proactive, self-starting approach and the confidence to take initiative in a busy environment.
- Clear written communication skills and the ability to convey information effectively.
- An approach grounded in empathy, integrity, and strict confidentiality.
