IT Project Manager

Role overview

An established financial services company in Singapore is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead important technology initiatives across the organization. The position suits someone who performs well in a fast-moving, highly regulated setting and has successfully managed full project lifecycles in banking, insurance, or fintech.

You will partner with teams across technology, business, compliance, and external vendors to deliver projects on schedule, within scope, and in line with strategic priorities.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open only to candidates who hold a valid SG RTW and can work in Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of IT projects from kickoff through implementation and post-launch support.
• Set the project scope, timelines, budget, and resource plan so the work stays aligned with business objectives.
• Keep communication flowing with internal stakeholders, senior leaders, and external partners.
• Spot risks, issues, and dependencies early and put practical mitigation plans in place.
• Make sure all work follows regulatory obligations and internal governance standards.
• Work with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to keep execution moving smoothly.
• Monitor and present project status, including milestones, KPIs, and financial performance.
• Assist with change management efforts and help drive user adoption.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5–10+ years of experience managing IT projects in financial services; banking, insurance, or fintech backgrounds are preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex technology initiatives such as digital transformation, core banking or enterprise systems, payments, or data platforms.
• Solid understanding of project delivery approaches, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methods.
