IT & Systems Administrator

Role Overview

Synolon Systems is seeking an IT & Systems Administrator in Dubai to take charge of the company’s internal technology environment. This position is centered on keeping daily operations secure, organized, and efficient rather than functioning as a standard helpdesk role. The right person will help shape internal IT processes, solve issues proactively, and make sure the team has the systems and support needed to work smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Entra ID.
• Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Set up user accounts and control access permissions.
• Configure and support servers, desktops and laptops, network connections, Wi‑Fi, printers, and other peripherals on Windows and Mac systems.
• Administer company software, SaaS platforms, subscriptions, and software licenses.
• Provide IT support to employees across the organization.
• Oversee identity and access management activities.
• Apply security practices such as multi-factor authentication, password policy enforcement, and access reviews.
• Maintain ownership and security of company social media and digital accounts.
• Create secure methods for sharing company accounts and transferring ownership when employees exit.
• Keep IT records, standard operating procedures, and asset lists up to date.
• Support software rollouts, automation efforts, and internal system enhancements.
• Coordinate with vendors and arrange procurement of IT equipment and software.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Intune or other mobile device management tools.
• Exposure to automation platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier, or Make.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell, scripting, or coding.
