Role overview
Quantix Edge Security is looking for a motivated Junior Analyst to help drive business operations with research, data analysis, reporting, and practical insights. This position is well suited to someone who is detail-focused, comfortable working with data, and able to turn information into clear support for decisions.
The role involves gathering data from different sources, structuring and evaluating it, preparing reports and summaries, and contributing to improvements in business performance and processes. It also offers a strong environment for building analytical, technical, and business capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, structure, verify, and examine information from several data sources.
- Build reports, dashboards, presentations, and concise business summaries.
- Spot patterns, trends, irregularities, and improvement opportunities in datasets.
- Assist with business research, market review, and performance evaluation.
- Track key performance indicators and operational measurements.
- Contribute to forecasting, planning, and strategy-related analysis.
- Update and manage databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Perform data checks to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand needs and provide analysis support.
- Record methods, workflows, and findings in a clear manner.
- Support process improvement efforts through data-backed recommendations.
Skills and competencies
- Strong quantitative thinking, analysis, and problem-solving ability.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and analysis functions.
- Good research and information collection skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to explain data findings in a simple and understandable way.

- Comfort with working alone as well as in a team.
- Willingness to learn new analytical tools and business concepts.
Preferred background
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline is preferred. Prior internship exposure, academic projects, research work, or related analytical experience will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or comparable tools is helpful, and experience in reporting, business intelligence, or performance analysis is preferred.
