Kitchen Helper

Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site kitchen support position with Pizza Hut Canada in Kamloops, British Columbia. The role is focused on keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked while assisting with basic food preparation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the kitchen area, including worktops, cupboards, storage spaces, equipment, and appliances.
• Receive incoming supplies, unpack them, and place them into refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage locations.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage in a timely manner.
• Keep floors clean by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing as needed.
• Prepare produce by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.

Education

A secondary school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.

Working conditions

This is a permanent role. Work is conducted in English, with scheduled hours of 30 to 40 per week. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, days, weekends, and shift-based schedules.
