This role is based in Qatar and sits within the pre-sales function. The selected candidate will work closely with customers to design practical, scalable, and resilient AI-based solutions that align with business needs.

Role overview

The Solution Architect will act as a technical bridge between the company’s technology and client requirements. The position combines customer engagement, solution design, product demonstrations, technical proposals, and collaboration with internal teams to shape AI/ML offerings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and technical stakeholders in pre-sales discussions to understand needs and translate them into solution designs.
• Create and present technical proposals, including responses to RFPs and tenders.
• Run independent product demonstrations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design AI/ML solutions across cloud, sovereign, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Assess, size, and benchmark GPU infrastructure for inference and training workloads.
• Evaluate LLM performance using metrics such as accuracy, latency, and throughput.
• Apply knowledge of MLOps, containerization, orchestration, and deployment tooling to support production-ready AI systems.
• Work with Python, SQL, and ML frameworks to support technical discovery and solution validation.
• Travel as required for meetings, conferences, and project-related activities.

Requirements

• Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or a similar customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Implementation Consultant.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the confidence to present to mixed technical and business audiences.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, answering RFPs or tenders, and delivering product demos independently.
• Solid knowledge of cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with AI/ML platforms including SageMaker, Vertex AI, and AzureML.
• Understanding of deployment options such as sovereign, on-premise, and hybrid architectures.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, monitoring, Kubeflow, Flyte, MLflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of LLM inference stacks such as vLLM, llama.cpp, and OpenVINO, plus delivery formats like ONNX, .safetensors, and HuggingFace model hub.
• Experience estimating GPU needs for LLM training or inference, including memory, throughput, and hardware tiers from A10 to H200.
• Hands-on ability in Python and SQL, with familiarity in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Arabic and English language proficiency.
• Willingness to travel when needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is located.
• Preferred: exposure to computer vision, speech, vision-language, model compression, quantization, edge deployment, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, data architecture, big data tools, and AI privacy/ethics topics including GDPR and the relevant country AI Act.
