Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in the United Arab Emirates. The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for building, growing, and managing strategic alliances with important stakeholders such as technology vendors, enterprise customers, and channel partners. The role covers the full partner journey, from finding opportunities and negotiating terms to onboarding partners and monitoring shared performance. It also includes close collaboration with sales and product teams to shape partner offerings, maintain strong relationships, resolve issues, and produce regular reporting on pipeline and partnership results. In addition, the position requires market research, competitor analysis, and participation in industry events to strengthen the partner network and support revenue growth and market expansion.
Must-Have Experience and Background
- Applicants should bring 5–7+ years of strategic partnerships experience, with at least 3 years specifically spent building and scaling partnerships in the UAE.
- Proven ability to create partnership ecosystems from the ground up that deliver measurable gains in revenue, customer acquisition, and long-term growth.
- A strong network in the UAE is essential, with the ability to quickly develop commercial relationships across government and semi-government bodies, tax consultants, accounting firms, law firms, ERP providers, system integrators, marketplaces, eCommerce platforms, fintechs, payment gateways, banks, financial institutions, telecom companies, business councils, chambers of commerce, and free zones.
- Experience in defining and executing partnership strategy and roadmap planning, including segment prioritization, partnership model design, and scalable engagement programs.
- Capability to establish, implement, and improve partnership KPIs such as sourced pipeline, influenced revenue, partner activation, joint marketing activity, engagement, certifications, referrals, and return on investment.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and finalizing strategic commercial agreements that deliver lasting value to both sides.
- A strong commercial focus with a history of generating organic growth through indirect sales channels and strategic alliances.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-growth setting with ambitious targets and clear performance outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong capability in account management and stakeholder engagement, including nurturing executive relationships and helping partners achieve success.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior executives and top government stakeholders.
- Sound analytical and commercial judgment, with experience tracking partnership performance, forecasting pipeline, and using data to guide decisions.
- Prior exposure to B2B SaaS, fintech, tax technology, regulatory technology, ERP, or enterprise software is highly desirable.
- Ability to work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Operations, and executive teams to deliver effective go-to-market initiatives.
- Experience creating partner enablement initiatives, joint go-to-market plans, co-marketing campaigns, incentive models, and executive business reviews.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; an MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- Professional English proficiency is required. Arabic is a strong plus, and other regional languages are beneficial.
