Role overview
This role is responsible for running payroll operations accurately and on time, with coverage across time processing, payroll calculations, statutory compliance, employee exits, and stakeholder support. The position is based in Singapore and requires close coordination with HR, Finance, Treasury, and related teams.
Payroll and time management
You will oversee end-to-end time and attendance handling, making sure records are captured correctly, validated, and integrated into the payroll system. The role also involves checking payroll results and reports for accuracy and compliance, while working with HR and business teams to resolve discrepancies.
Payroll processing
The position includes running regular and off-cycle payrolls with strong accuracy and turnaround discipline. You will also perform payroll reconciliations, prepare reports for Finance and Treasury, and support salary payment execution through bank portals, including GIRO and cashier's orders. Statutory filings such as CPF submissions must be completed on time and in line with regulatory requirements.
Employee exits and compliance
You will manage payroll matters related to employee separations, including final settlement, unused leave payouts, and overtime payments. The role also covers severance processing, IR21 tax clearance for foreign employees, and coordination with HR, Finance, and Employee Relations to close any remaining balances.
Collaboration and support
The role requires sharing payroll outputs and analysis with Treasury and Finance for month-end activity, and partnering with stock administration teams on ESPP cessation and associated reporting. You will also respond to employee questions through email, phone, and ServiceNow while meeting defined service timelines.
Projects and improvement
In addition to core payroll work, you will assist with system testing such as SAP UAT, support payroll enhancements, contribute to process improvement efforts, and participate in additional HR or payroll projects as needed.
Additional information
This opening requires a minimum of 3 years of payroll or payroll project management experience. Familiarity with SAP Payroll and Workday is preferred. The employer is seeking Singapore Permanent Residents and Singapore citizens only. The role is onsite in Singapore.
