Role overview
An Energy sector employer is seeking a Payroll Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis in Aberdeen. This position suits someone with hands-on payroll experience who is comfortable managing both UK and international payrolls in a busy, deadline-driven setting.
What the role involves
You will be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time, while keeping all employee and payroll data up to date in SAP. The role also requires compliance with company procedures and UK employment legislation.
In addition, you will review payroll reports, assist with month-end activities, respond to questions from employees and outside partners, and support payroll-related projects and testing whenever needed.
Experience and skills needed
The client is looking for candidates with at least 3 years of payroll or HR experience who can perform effectively under pressure and manage several deadlines at once. A strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of end-to-end payroll operations are important.
Confidence using payroll software is required. Experience with SAP is advantageous, although not mandatory if you can adapt quickly to new systems. Good communication skills and a proactive working style are also important for success in this role.
