POS Systems Supervisor

Role overview

ALBAIK Food Systems Co. is looking for a POS Systems Supervisor to oversee point-of-sale applications, related integrations, and day-to-day operational support. The role focuses on keeping systems reliable, maintaining data quality, and delivering a smooth experience for users across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end POS application setup and support environment, covering upgrades, feature improvements, configuration changes, and release coordination with both business and technical teams.
• Track and manage connections between the POS platform and outside systems such as delivery aggregators, self-ordering kiosks, loyalty tools, payment gateways, and other digital sales channels.
• Safeguard the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of sales records and financial information flowing through the POS landscape.
• Handle initial incident investigation, support root cause analysis, and follow through on permanent fixes for defects, repeat issues, and operational interruptions.
• Work with vendors, support providers, and internal stakeholders to close critical incidents and service requests within agreed service-level timelines.
• Review and reconcile system reports to ensure they align with ERP outputs, finance needs, and business reporting standards.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation, process maps, configuration guidelines, and operational playbooks.
• Ensure all activities follow IT governance rules, security controls, data protection requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations.
• Support ongoing process improvement efforts that strengthen POS efficiency, user experience, and operational performance across retail and restaurant environments.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing POS systems, ideally within restaurants or QSR operations.
• Experience with ERP systems, online sales platforms, and finance-related integrations is important.
• The role calls for strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to solving problems.
• Candidates must be able to manage project work and deliver improvements within deadlines.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, especially when handling data.
• Strong communication and coordination skills are needed to work effectively across functions.

Work location

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
