Role overview
Unison Group is hiring a Product Manager to support a complex multi-system IT environment in Singapore. This role blends product coordination with operational ownership, vendor follow-up, security governance, and compliance tracking across several enterprise systems.
Core responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the security patching and vulnerability management process across three systems, including monitoring patch expiry dates, coordinating with vendors, and making sure weekly OSVA and host configuration review deadlines are consistently met.
- Oversee production support for HCIS, RPG-ECRM, and ESMS by handling incident triage, pushing issues through to closure, keeping proper records, and escalating serious problems when required.
- Run the recurring compliance review schedule, including monthly GCC tenant checks, SHIP/HATS user reviews, application privilege account reviews, and the annual reviews for risk registers, scripts, and role-based access.
- Coordinate with vendors on security and technical topics, lead follow-up discussions, negotiate delivery timelines, review CVs for proposed resources, and track every commitment until completion.
- Manage contract and resource administration under the MCAM and Consolidated SSL agreements, including certificate renewals, utilisation tracking, and inventory control.
- Support the Senior Product Manager with day-to-day product work such as backlog refinement, roadmap milestone tracking, UAT planning and coordination, release note preparation, and stakeholder updates.
- Maintain disciplined operational execution across a multi-system environment while keeping records accurate, identifying risks early, and updating the Senior Product Manager without needing reminders.
- Set up and run monthly meetings, ensure action items are followed through, and keep vendors accountable for what they have committed to deliver.
- Convert insights from support cases and stakeholder conversations into practical backlog inputs and help the team stay aligned to delivery targets.
Requirements
- A proactive, highly organised IT professional who takes initiative, owns outcomes, and communicates issues promptly and clearly.
- About 3 to 6 years of experience in IT operations, systems management, or a similar area; this range is only a guideline.
- Practical exposure to security compliance and governance activities such as patch management, access reviews, and audit support in an enterprise setting.
- Comfort with juggling several workstreams at once without losing track of details.
- Experience working directly with application and infrastructure vendors on technical or security topics, with the confidence to hold them accountable.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including judgment on when to escalate and when to resolve issues independently.
- Knowledge of enterprise middleware environments, cloud platforms like GCC, and IT audit processes will be an advantage.
- Prior involvement in product management practices such as backlog management, roadmap tracking, and UAT coordination will be a differentiator.
- Experience with government IT systems or public sector compliance expectations is a plus.
