Role Overview

Workways Australia is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee employment services across the Brisbane region. This is a permanent full-time position, and the role requires travel to different sites within the area.

What the Role Involves

The Regional Manager will be responsible for guiding staff and allocating resources at a regional level to support the effective delivery of employment services. This position also plays a key part in shaping and rolling out regional plans and strategies, meeting performance and revenue goals, and ensuring day-to-day operations follow organisational policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings experience from employment services, disability services, youth services, or a strong background in the not-for-profit sector. They should be a capable leader with a track record of managing multiple locations, delivering KPIs, and building a strong performance-driven culture. The role also calls for someone who can develop and execute business plans, interpret government contract and compliance requirements, and work through challenges with sound judgment and a collaborative approach.

Strong organisation, conflict management, and the ability to prioritise competing demands while meeting deadlines under pressure are important. The successful applicant will also need strong emotional intelligence, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, confidence with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
