Role overview
This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join a specialist residential service in the Castle Bromwich area of Birmingham. The home is part of a leading UK healthcare provider and supports autistic men and women in a residential setting.
The service is focused on helping each person improve their day-to-day life by working toward realistic and meaningful goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the service, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring the team delivers person-centred support.
Essential qualification
Applicants must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification, to be eligible for consideration.
Key duties
- Oversee the management of support for people with learning disabilities and other complex needs.
- Guide the team to help service users reach their personal goals and build confidence, skills, and independence through activities and staff-led initiatives.
- Drive quality assurance and provide leadership that motivates the team to deliver excellent person-centred care.
- Promote best-practice standards in social care while supporting ongoing service improvement.
- Apply strong people and process management skills to ensure the service runs effectively and successfully.

- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Prior management experience in a similar care environment.
- Sound understanding of regulatory standards and compliance expectations.
- Well-developed judgement and decision-making ability.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.

Rewards and benefits
The role offers a salary of GBP 40,000 per year and a full-time working pattern of 40 hours per week on day shifts.
