Role Summary
This is an immediate opening for a driven Research Associate to join the team in a full-time, on-site position in Woburn, MA. The role supports research efforts that move therapeutic candidates from preclinical development toward clinical studies through hands-on laboratory work and collaborative problem-solving.
What You Will Do
- Carry out cell-based in vitro experiments and in vivo studies that contribute to the development of the therapeutic pipeline.
- Support preclinical research activities that help advance candidates into clinical trial readiness.
- Develop a practical understanding of the disease area and align experiments with broader project objectives.
- Review and interpret experimental findings independently, troubleshoot technical problems, and recommend effective solutions.
- Work closely with colleagues across functions in a team-oriented research environment.
- Handle several projects at once, stay organized, and adjust quickly when priorities shift in a fast-moving setting.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree with hands-on exposure to cellular and molecular biology methods.
- Practical experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, and ELISA.
- Previous in vivo research experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to build scientific understanding around target disease biology and connect that knowledge to experimental design.
- Strong analytical ability to assess data, identify issues, and solve technical challenges.
- A collaborative approach and comfort working on cross-functional teams.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities.
