About the Company

monday.com is an AI-powered work platform used by ambitious teams to connect people, processes, and AI agents on one adaptable system. More than 250,000 customers rely on it across functions to streamline work and help AI do real execution, not just support tasks. The company moves quickly, focuses on meaningful product-building, and encourages a culture of ownership where people can help shape how organisations work and stay ahead of competitors.

As the company expands its ANZ footprint, the Sydney team plays a key role in creating new pipeline and supporting market growth. This opportunity is designed for commercially strong, naturally curious prospectors who can start conversations, open doors, and create genuine opportunities in the mid-market and enterprise segments.

Expression of Interest Notice

This is not a live vacancy. It is an expression of interest, created to connect with potential candidates ahead of an anticipated headcount opening in H2 2026. monday.com is building a candidate pipeline now so that strong SDR talent is already known when the role becomes available.

Why Connect Now

  • The SDR position is intended to be a launchpad, with many current Account Executives having started in this same role.
  • Reaching out early gives candidates a chance to have an actual conversation about their background, career goals, and fit with monday.com before the formal hiring process begins.
  • The product offers a strong commercial story, combining AI and agentic automation to help businesses run entire workflows and processes.
  • When the role opens, candidates already in the company’s network are likely to move through the process faster.

Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for creating pipeline across ANZ through outbound prospecting, inbound lead handling, qualification, and collaboration with internal teams. The position focuses on opening conversations with mid-market and enterprise buyers and turning interest into qualified meetings and revenue opportunities.

  • Apply the MEDDPICC qualification framework to assess prospects thoroughly and book strong meetings for Account Executives.
  • Respond quickly and thoughtfully to inbound interest, converting curiosity into qualified sales pipeline.
  • Spot cross-sell and multi-threading opportunities across the AI and agentic product suite to help customers expand automation and intelligence across the business.
  • Track your own performance and build optimisation plans aimed at meeting and exceeding SQL, pipeline, and ARR goals.
  • Work closely with AEs, the SDR Manager, and marketing to align prospecting strategy and share market feedback.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in SaaS, with a proven outbound prospecting background.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders from first contact through executive level.
  • A curious, coachable mindset with comfort receiving feedback and improving your approach.
  • A data-led working style, using insights to refine messaging and improve prospecting effectiveness.
  • A history of owning KPIs and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI and agentic automation, along with the ability to communicate its business value.
  • Based in Sydney and able to work hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Sydney office.

What’s In It for You

  • Join a team that values transparency and ownership in day-to-day work.
  • Work on a multi-product platform powered by advanced AI and used by customers around the world.
  • Access competitive pay, benefits, bonus potential, and equity eligibility for many roles.
  • Benefit from dedicated learning and development support, AI workshops, bootcamps, and internal hackathons.
  • Be part of a collaborative global culture supported by Employee Resource Groups and workplace teams across New York, Tel Aviv, London, Munich, Warsaw, Tokyo, Sydney, and other locations.
