About the role
Wipro is hiring a Senior Developer focused on Salesforce Field Service in Hyderabad. The position calls for a seasoned Salesforce professional who can design, configure, and support service delivery solutions, with a strong mix of hands-on implementation, development, and stakeholder communication.
Role requirements
The ideal candidate should bring at least 5 years of Salesforce experience, including 3+ years working specifically in Service Cloud/Field Service with at least one complete end-to-end FSL implementation delivered through hands-on configuration. The role demands strong practical knowledge of Field Service concepts such as service territories, resources, scheduling and optimization, work orders and service appointments, skills management, inventory handling, entitlements and warranties, and mobile configuration.
A solid understanding of SLA and entitlement management is important, along with experience in preventive maintenance, warranty and contract alignment, multi-day work orders, crew scheduling, and asset-based service. The role also requires strong Salesforce data modelling capability and the ability to build declarative automation confidently.
Hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration patterns such as platform events and REST APIs is needed. Familiarity with DevOps Center, Git-based workflows, and Agile delivery practices is also expected.
Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Field Service Consultant, Salesforce PD2, Administrator, and App Builder certifications. Exposure to FSL mobile/offline deployments and best practices, along with experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud for service journeys, will be an advantage. Knowledge of service analytics and KPI reporting, executive storytelling around operational performance, and prior exposure to MuleSoft or similar middleware are also desirable.
Soft skills
The role calls for executive-level communication skills, the ability to explain complex Field Service topics clearly, and the confidence to justify design choices. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are important, especially for mentoring teammates and promoting best practices.
