Senior Executive Function Coach

Role overview

A partner organization is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Function Coach in Germany. This is a fully remote, flexible part-time contractor role for a professional who can support high-achieving students in their personal, academic, and leadership development. You will work within a structured coaching environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help students build the skills needed for long-term success.

The position is well suited to educators or coaches who are motivated by youth development and want to contribute to the growth of learners through individualized coaching, accountability, and mentorship.

What you will do

• Run structured one-to-one coaching sessions centered on executive function, leadership growth, and personal development.
• Evaluate each student’s strengths and areas for improvement across executive function and leadership skills.
• Create personalized development plans based on individual goals, priority skills, and program guidelines.
• Track student progress through assessments, milestone tasks, coaching outputs, and weekly action plans.
• Help students strengthen self-management, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
• Build habits that support sustained academic achievement, personal effectiveness, and professional readiness.
• Reinforce character traits such as resilience, integrity, initiative, empathy, curiosity, and self-drive.
• Work with mentoring, strategy, and student success teams to deliver aligned support and consistent outcomes.
• Keep accurate records of coaching meetings, development updates, and progress milestones.
• Adjust coaching methods and use available resources to respond to changing student needs and program goals.
• Share feedback and observations that help improve the coaching program and overall effectiveness.

What the employer is looking for

• A master’s degree or PhD in coaching, counseling, psychology, education, or a similar field from an accredited institution.
• Professional experience working with youth, adolescents, or students in coaching, counseling, education, or developmental settings.
• Proven ability to support student growth, wellbeing, and achievement through structured guidance and mentorship.
• Strong knowledge of executive function development, leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and personal growth frameworks.
• Excellent coaching, communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience evaluating student needs and building individualized development plans.
• The ability to inspire, engage, and hold students accountable in a supportive environment.
• Strong organizational ability and experience monitoring progress through assessments, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Leadership experience in educational, corporate, nonprofit, or public-sector settings is considered an advantage.
• Previous exposure to executive function coaching, leadership development, or student success programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with college admissions preparation, international education, or high-achieving student groups is helpful.
• Experience working with culturally diverse or international students is a plus.
