Senior Web Designer

Role overview

This is a remote senior web design opportunity for a candidate based in Ireland. The role supports a global client portfolio and is centered on creating polished digital experiences across a range of industries. You will work in a distributed team environment where independence, creative ownership, and consistent delivery are highly valued. From early concept work through final handoff, you will be accountable for the quality, usability, and visual strength of your output while coordinating closely with project management.

Responsibilities

• Own web and UI design work from initial ideas through to completed delivery.
• Produce original visual concepts and layouts using industry-standard design tools.
• Handle several active projects at the same time without losing quality or momentum.
• Work with project managers to stay aligned with client needs, timelines, and feedback.
• Tailor design solutions for different sectors and brand identities.
• Apply usability, aesthetic, and responsive design principles throughout the work.
• Iterate on designs based on review comments while maintaining a high design standard.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience in web and UI design, whether freelance or in-house.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and/or Sketch.
• Proven ability to independently deliver end-to-end design projects.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating web and digital design capability.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple deadlines at once.
• Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
• Availability to work on a schedule aligned with US Eastern Time, from 9 AM to 6 PM ET.
• A collaborative attitude and openness to feedback and continued learning.
