Role overview
The Service Planner / Sr. Service Planner is accountable for complete service planning, maintaining accurate records, using internal systems effectively, monitoring productivity, and coordinating with different teams so services are delivered smoothly and on time. The role reports to the AOM/OM, Assistant Branch Manager, or Branch Manager and requires active collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Build strong working knowledge of company platforms such as iCABS and SCP, and ensure Service Companion is actively used at the required level.
- Support the shift toward digital operations by keeping consumption, TOS, and service records accurate.
- Work with the IT team to resolve issues related to new user creation and device troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow the ticket-based callout workflow without errors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for technicians covering contracts, job-based visits, renewals, and complaints.
- Set priorities in planning to reduce pending service jobs and maintain timely delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with sales and service teams to manage urgent visits and address STOP or termination-related concerns.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and service performance metrics.
- Compile and share SOS updates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including GSS SOS.
- Share timely updates on backlogs, urgent matters, ageing cases, and complaint patterns.
- Support AOM/OM/ABM/BM in tracking field-level KPIs.
- Partner with sales and operations teams to manage technician routes, slot planning, and routine changes.
- Escalate unresolved matters to the next level of management for closure.
- Plan leave schedules carefully so that service delivery continues without interruption.
