This remote internship is designed for a law student or recent law graduate who wants practical exposure to legal research, drafting, and compliance work in an HR and consulting environment. The role involves supporting contract work, privacy and data protection documentation, and legal coordination across business functions.

What you will do

• Draft and review agreements such as contracts, NDAs, and consultancy documents.
• Assist with intellectual property matters, including patents and copyright-related work.
• Prepare and review privacy policies, terms and conditions, and data protection materials.
• Carry out legal research on employment law, regulatory obligations, and compliance requirements.
• Help structure legal documentation and policy material for HRIS/software-related use cases.
• Examine client documents for possible compliance gaps and highlight concerns.
• Organise and maintain legal records, templates, and contract repositories.
• Work with HR and consulting teams on compliance-focused deliverables.
• Monitor legal and regulatory updates relevant to HR and consulting.
• Support additional legal tasks across contracts, business operations, and compliance.

Who should apply

This opportunity is open only to candidates who can work remotely, are able to begin between 23 June 2026 and 28 July 2026, can commit to a 3-month internship, and have relevant skills and interest in legal work.

Other requirements

• You should currently be pursuing or have recently completed an LLB or an equivalent law degree.
• You need a working grasp of contract law, intellectual property, and data privacy concepts.
• Strong research and analytical ability is important for this role.
• You should be careful and detail-oriented when checking legal documents.
• You should be able to turn complex legal points into clear, practical takeaways.
• An interest in corporate law, HR compliance, or consulting-based work is preferred.
• Clear written communication is needed for drafting and documentation.
• You should be comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of GDPR and the Indian DPDP Act will be considered an advantage.
• Previous internship experience is useful but not compulsory.

Compensation
