About the Company

Fluence (Nasdaq: FLNC) is an international leader in intelligent energy storage and optimization software for renewable energy and storage assets. Its software and operational services support a more reliable power grid and help unlock the full value of renewable portfolios. With gigawatts of deployments across nearly 50 markets, the company is shaping a more sustainable energy future.

Role Overview

In this role, you will serve as the fast-moving build specialist for Fluence’s GTM Technology and Automation team. You will create AI agents, prototype automation flows, build Salesforce Flow logic, and deliver working proof-of-concepts in days rather than weeks. The position sits at the intersection of AI tools, low-code systems, and commercial operations, working closely with Sales and Marketing to convert workflow ideas into production-ready automation.

You will be responsible for delivering AI use cases across Agentforce, Gong integrations, and Salesforce-native automation. You will act as an execution partner to the Director, the IT team, and the implementation partner. This is a hands-on build role focused on creating real solutions, not advisory recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, configure, and refine Agentforce agents for sales scenarios such as account summaries, proposal assistance, and next-best-action suggestions.
  • Build and support Salesforce Flow automations that reduce manual work, enforce lifecycle rules, and surface relevant signals to sales representatives and managers.
  • Develop quick AI and automation proof-of-concepts for stakeholder feedback, typically within one to three days per prototype.
  • Assist external implementation partners with AI-related build decisions and act as the internal business expert during platform delivery.
  • Create adoption materials and internal support tools such as prompt playbooks, workflow references, quick-start assistants, and in-app help content.
  • Continuously assess new large language model and agent capabilities and convert them into practical, controlled, high-impact business improvements.
  • Work with IT on security assessments, data access control, and production rollout of AI-enabled workflows.
  • Run discovery sessions with Sales and Marketing teams to define automation needs and confirm that delivered solutions match real operating processes.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of practical experience with Salesforce automation tools such as Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, or similar declarative platforms.
  • Direct experience using LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks, including building agents or model-driven workflows.
  • Strong ability to produce functional prototypes quickly from scratch; a track record of shipped work is more important than certifications.
  • Comfort working frequently with non-technical business stakeholders to gather requirements and test solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of B2B commercial processes, including lead management, opportunity tracking, pipeline reporting, and proposal workflows.
  • Good understanding of AI-related data security and governance, including prompt injection risks, access scoping, and audit logging.

Additional Skills

  • Practical experience configuring Salesforce Agentforce or Einstein Copilot agents.
  • Familiarity with Gong, Demandbase, or similar go-to-market platforms and how they integrate.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party implementation partners in sprint-based delivery setups.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, industrial SaaS, or other complex B2B settings.

Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time they apply and for the full duration of employment. The company does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
