Role Summary

In this role, you will support the Store Manager in running the station store and keeping operations on track. Your work will include helping with hiring, supervising team members, managing daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising. You will also help maintain service standards and ensure customers receive prompt, friendly support. Consistent and dependable on-site attendance is required.

You will also be expected to help carry out the food program to the company’s standards. The position calls for someone who leads by example, shows patience, works with urgency, and demonstrates strong leadership in day-to-day interactions.

Key Duties

• Assist the Store Manager with overall station store operations
• Support hiring, interviewing, and supervision of staff
• Coordinate daily assignments and follow through on completion
• Handle bookkeeping and merchandising tasks
• Maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction
• Help execute the food program according to company expectations
• Provide regular, reliable on-site attendance
• Set the tone for the team through leadership and customer focus

What You Bring

You should be comfortable leading people, staying organized, solving problems, and communicating clearly. Experience in retail, supervisory work, hiring, and food handling is helpful, along with the ability to guide and motivate others.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from floor to overhead for as long as 30 minutes during a shift
• Occasional lifting and/or carrying of up to 60 pounds from floor to waist height
• Ability to push or pull with the arms using up to 20 pounds of force
• Ability to bend at the waist, including some twisting, for up to 1 hour per shift
• Ability to grasp, reach, and handle objects with the hands
• May require eye-hand coordination and occasional ladder climbing to store, retrieve, place, or remove materials and signs
