The private equity group is increasing its investment pace, which has created the need for an Associate to help with deal execution and portfolio oversight.

Role overview

This is an Associate position in the private equity team, partnering closely with senior investment professionals. The role covers the full investment cycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities through execution and asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Assess new investment opportunities through financial modelling, valuation work, and commercial analysis.
• Support due diligence across financial, technical, and legal areas.
• Draft investment papers and presentation materials for internal investment committee reviews.
• Help drive transaction execution, including deal structuring, negotiations, and coordination with external advisers.
• Track portfolio company performance, prepare reports, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
• Carry out sector research and map market landscapes.
• Coordinate with outside stakeholders such as advisers, co-investors, and lenders.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings experience from private equity or investment banking, along with strong financial modelling and analytical capability. You should be comfortable building and reviewing complex models, understand core investment principles, risk assessment, and value creation, and be able to handle several workstreams at once with strong attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication is also essential.
