BIM Coordinator

Role Overview

Alftek International is seeking a BIM Coordinator to work in Doha, Qatar on a full-time, on-site basis. The position is offered under company sponsorship, with an immediate joining requirement and a project duration of 3 years.

Key Responsibilities

The selected professional will coordinate Building Information Modeling activities across multiple disciplines and support project execution throughout the construction phase.

• Manage BIM coordination tasks for architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
• Review BIM models and drawings to identify and resolve clashes.
• Support project execution by ensuring BIM workflows align with site and construction requirements.
• Monitor project standards, documentation, and coordination procedures.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to maintain alignment across deliverables.
• Prepare BIM-related reports and contribute to project outputs as needed.
• Assist with construction drawing review and site coordination activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Qatar.
• Relevant background in construction and contracting environments.
• Practical experience in BIM coordination and project delivery.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams, including architectural, structural, and MEP functions.
• Strong knowledge of BIM model management, drawing review, and clash detection processes.
• Familiarity with construction standards, workflows, and BIM documentation practices.
• Understanding of construction drawings and site coordination requirements.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and similar BIM tools.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Must already be locally available in Qatar.
• Immediate joining, or joining on short notice, is preferred.
