About the opportunity
Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) is looking for a Brand Associate to join its Auckland team. This role sits within a collaborative, fast-moving environment where creativity, learning, and career growth are actively encouraged. The role is well suited to a marketer who already has a few years of post-university experience and wants to deepen their brand and communications expertise. You will help ensure BNZ shows up consistently across every channel, with strong brand identity, clear messaging, and high-quality execution.

What you will do
- Assist the brand communications team in planning and delivering a broad mix of brand-led initiatives that support BNZ’s “let’s find a way” positioning.
- Contribute to storytelling, campaign work, cultural moment activations, and the delivery of consistent brand experiences across customer touchpoints.
- Work with design, creative, and media agency partners to make the best possible use of BNZ’s distinctive brand assets while keeping work brand-safe, on time, and within budget.
- Provide day-to-day support through the central brand inbox, including brand guidance, approvals, tone of voice support, copy direction, and risk-conscious decision-making.
- Help maintain the BNZ Brand Toolkit so it stays accurate, easy to access, and clearly communicated across the business.
