About the roleThis position is for a self-driven Business Development Representative who can help expand revenue by finding new prospects, starting conversations, and setting up qualified demos for Account Executives. The role sits at the front of the sales funnel and is central to keeping the pipeline active and healthy.What you will doRun outbound prospecting campaigns using cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to uncover fresh business opportunities.Reach out to potential customers and understand their business challenges, priorities, and pain points.Screen leads against defined qualification standards so only strong prospects move forward to the Account Executive team.Arrange and manage product demos and meetings with Account Executives.Keep outreach logs and prospect details updated accurately in CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable platforms.Address early objections and guide prospects toward confirming a demo.Work closely with sales and marketing teams to improve messaging, outreach methods, and conversion strategy.Monitor market movement, competitor activity, and broader industry trends to spot new opportunities.Experience and candidate profileThe hiring team is looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation. A minimum of 6 months of experience selling complex or technical B2B SaaS products is required. Prior exposure to the US or North American market is important. The role is for an individual contributor, so applicants with people-management responsibilities will not be considered. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.Tools and methodsHands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or Freshsales is expected. Familiarity with structured sales frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC, as well as multi-channel outreach platforms such as Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo Sequences, is preferred.EligibilityOnly applicants with at least 1 year of experience can apply. Prior experience in B2B SaaS companies is mandatory. Candidates from SDR agencies, IT services firms, staffing firms, demand generation agencies, FinTech, Healthcare SaaS, EdTech, or automated calling software companies will not be considered. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.Compensation and work arrangementThis is a fully remote, full-time role with a 5-day work week. The salary range is ₹8,00,000 to ₹14,00,000 per year, and compensation includes a 10% performance-based variable component.Additional informationApplications are open for 7 vacancies.
