Role overview

This position sits within the Scania New Zealand Finance team and plays an important role in building, managing, and expanding business opportunities. The focus is on developing profitable relationships and actively identifying new prospects.

Location

The role may be based in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, or Hawke's Bay region.

What you'll do

• Work directly with the OEM partner, Scania New Zealand, to deliver flexible and tailored finance solutions for customers.
• Grow the portfolio while improving profitability margins.
• Increase conversion into new business and encourage total transport solution sales.
• Review customer financial details to determine suitable credit limits.
• Assist Scania New Zealand account managers, the sales network, and management team.
• Meet with Scania customers to negotiate finance agreements.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will likely hold a formal qualification in business or a related field and bring relevant experience from the financial services sector. Experience or knowledge of commercial or automotive vehicles will be an advantage.

Strong sales capability within financial services or insurance is important for success in this role.
