CAD Architect

Role overviewThis position plays an important part in delivering construction projects successfully by turning design ideas into precise architectural drawings and documentation. The CAD Architect will collaborate with architects, engineers, and site teams to convert early-stage concepts into clear, buildable construction records.Key responsibilitiesCreate detailed and accurate architectural drawings such as plans, elevations, sections, detail drawings, and schedules using standard drafting tools and software, including AutoCAD and Revit.Refine and develop drawings from sketches and design directions provided by architects.Check that all dimensions are correct and that drawings follow architectural standards and accepted drafting practices.Prepare polished drawings suitable for client presentations and internal review meetings.Make occasional visits to project sites to monitor progress, spot mismatches, and update drawings where needed.Stay current with relevant building regulations, drafting standards, and industry best practices.Additional informationLocation: Greater Chennai Area.Employer: Larsen & Toubro.
