Cleaning Professional

Position Summary

This role supports a manufacturing site in Lewisburg, WV by keeping workspaces orderly, sanitary, and safe. The right candidate will help maintain restrooms, break rooms, offices, shared areas, and other public spaces so the facility consistently meets cleanliness and safety expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, offices, and other shared areas.
• Vacuum carpets and area rugs across the facility.
• Sweep and mop hard flooring, keeping surfaces well maintained.
• Remove waste and recycling, then replace bin liners when required.
• Replenish restroom and break room consumables such as paper goods, soap, and cleaning supplies.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces including door handles, counters, tables, and handrails.
• Keep entrances, hallways, and other public spaces clean.
• Escalate repair issues, safety concerns, or low supply levels to management.
• Follow all site safety rules and approved cleaning procedures.
• Support additional cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial work, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is helpful but not mandatory.
• Comfort working on your own with limited oversight.
• Strong eye for detail and a consistent focus on cleanliness.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to handle cleaning tools and supplies safely.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting duties throughout the shift.
