Role Overview
The Analyst will join the Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team, which delivers consulting, analytics, and data science solutions for clients across the GCC region. The role is suited to motivated professionals who want to support consulting delivery, produce detailed analyses, surface meaningful insights, and help shape client strategy.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to consulting and analytics workstreams across the full project lifecycle.
- Gather the information needed for assignments and perform background research.
- Analyze data using both internal and external sources.
- Run benchmarking exercises and carry out market research.
- Translate analysis into insights that help guide recommendation development.
- Prepare client-facing and internal deliverables such as slide decks, Excel models, and related materials.
- Assist project teams in forming hypotheses, building conclusions, and supporting senior colleagues during client presentations.
- Help with implementation support for client projects.
- Contribute to client training sessions and share best practices with Visa customers.
- Support VCA business development through proposals and white papers.
- Take part in broader Visa initiatives and projects beyond VCA.
- Collaborate with consulting teams in other regions to support global knowledge sharing and practice growth.
- Handle additional ad hoc support tasks, help other Visa functions and teams, and contribute to internal projects.
Work Arrangement
This role is based in Doha, Qatar and follows a hybrid setup. The number of office days will be confirmed by the hiring manager. Travel is required, mainly to Kuwait, though not exclusively.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree, along with relevant work experience. For the basic requirement, 2 or more years of experience is needed with a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree such as a master’s, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD. Preferred candidates will have 3 or more years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or more than 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
The role also expects a recognized undergraduate degree and experience in consulting, financial services, or payments.
Required Skills and Background
- 2 to 3 years of experience in consulting, financial services, or the payments sector.
- Strong capability in analytical work and financial modelling.
- Ability to gather business and industry trend information and assess it using numerical and strategic analysis methods.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
- Solid reporting and presentation abilities.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing client presentations.
- Arabic language skills are preferred.
