Data Scientist V

About the Role

OP is looking for a Data Scientist who can drive analytics and evidence-based decisions by working closely with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on turning complex data into practical insights, shaping measurement for new products and product improvements, and sharing findings that guide both strategy and execution.

Core Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, business drivers, and areas of opportunity.
• Create and assess experiments such as A/B tests, along with measurement structures and KPI definitions.
• Develop repeatable analysis workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools that support continuous tracking.
• Build statistical and operational research models for forecasting, planning, optimization, and prioritization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into analytical methods and communicate outcomes in a clear, decision-ready format.
• Protect analysis quality through validation, documentation, and explicit assumptions.

Minimum Requirements

• Hands-on experience using SQL to pull, transform, and analyze large datasets.
• Strong Python skills for data wrangling, statistical analysis, modeling, and automation.
• Solid statistical knowledge, including hypothesis testing, regression, inference, and experiment design.
• Familiarity with operational research methods such as optimization, simulation, and decision analysis, with the ability to apply them to real business scenarios.
• Proven ability to explain technical results to non-technical audiences and support decision-making.
• Comfort working across multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while meeting deadlines with high-quality output.

Additional Responsibilities

• Take part in monthly team meetings and contribute to team-building activities.
• Join technical discussions and peer review processes.
• Share knowledge and contribute to the internal wiki or knowledge base.
• Provide status updates to account management when requested.
