Datacenter Manager

Role Overview

The bank is looking for a Datacenter Manager to take charge of daily datacenter operations, ongoing maintenance, and infrastructure improvement. This role requires deep technical expertise in datacenter systems and a strong focus on keeping the environment reliable, high-performing, and secure.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee everyday datacenter activity, covering servers, storage, and network systems.
• Maintain the availability, speed, and protection of all datacenter platforms and services.
• Plan and execute upgrades and expansions to the datacenter infrastructure in line with business growth and operational demand.
• Build for scale and stability so the datacenter can support changing requirements.
• Design and implement disaster recovery processes for datacenter systems.
• Protect critical infrastructure through backup and recovery planning for essential components and services.
• Apply security controls and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including SAMA and AML/CTF.
• Carry out recurring audits and vulnerability checks to identify and reduce risk.
• Track performance indicators and system behavior to improve overall datacenter efficiency.
• Review logs and metrics to detect issues and remove performance bottlenecks.
• Manage, guide, and develop a team of datacenter engineers and administrators.
• Coordinate with IT operations, security personnel, and business teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Must be Saudi national.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Advanced certifications in datacenter-related technologies such as VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA are advantageous.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in datacenter management.
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated background in managing large-scale datacenter setups within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.
• Hands-on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing datacenter performance.
• Exposure to cloud datacenter platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid knowledge of datacenter security, access management, and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
