Role overview
Nando’s PERi-PERi North America is looking to add an Expeditor to the Virginia Beach team. This role serves as the connection between the kitchen and the guest, making sure food is prepared promptly, matches Nando’s quality standards, and is delivered to the correct customer. The position is a good fit for someone starting out in hospitality or someone seeking flexible work in a lively, supportive restaurant environment. Both full-time and part-time hours are available.

What the role involves
The Expeditor keeps orders moving from the kitchen to the customer with accuracy and care. This includes organizing outgoing orders, packaging takeaway items, and serving as the final point of contact for guests picking up food. The role requires someone who can stay calm, stay organized, and remain courteous, dependable, and efficient while helping the team deliver the Nando’s experience.
Minimum expectations
- Comfortable following direction and working cooperatively with others
- Able to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced setting
- Strong focus on service quality, plus familiarity with food and beverage basics
- Working knowledge of safety practices, sanitation, and food handling standards
- Basic English communication skills are required
Physical demands
- Able to lift up to 15 lbs independently for extended periods
- Must be able to stand, walk, and use stairs while carrying food and dishes throughout the shift
- Ability to stay on your feet for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Good hand-eye coordination is needed
- Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping may be required
- Must be able to push and pull items as needed
- Ability to lift items overhead
- Must be able to use stairs in restaurants with multiple levels
