About the Company

Next Match AI is an AI-driven hiring platform that links pre-verified candidates straight into employers’ internal systems through an API, helping companies avoid lengthy application forms and manual shortlisting. The company is expanding in the UAE and is looking for a Finance Manager to lead finance operations across the region while also contributing to global oversight across the US, UAE, Canada, the UK, Australia, and other markets.

This is an internal leadership position working directly with the founders and the senior leadership team.

Role Overview

In this position, you will build and run the UAE finance function on a day-to-day basis while also providing group-level visibility into performance and cash position. The role covers monthly close, reporting, budgeting, cash planning, VAT, and coordination with auditors and banking partners.

The company is seeking someone practical, comfortable in a startup setting, and focused on creating simple, effective processes instead of unnecessary layers of control.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end finance function for the UAE entity, and assist with other entities when required.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting activities, compare actual results against budget, and explain key variances.
• Manage cash flow planning, supplier payments, receivables collection, and banking relationships.
• Handle invoicing, revenue recognition, and basic allocation of costs.
• Maintain compliance with UAE regulations, corporate obligations, and VAT requirements.
• Work with external auditors, tax consultants, and corporate service providers.
• Contribute to investor updates, KPI reporting, and board-ready summaries.
• Build and refine financial controls, policies, and straightforward operating processes.
• Partner with founders and operations teams on pricing, contracts, and expansion into new markets.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
• Background as a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, FP&A professional, or in a comparable role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards, financial statements, and cash flow management.
• Prior experience in the UAE is important; familiarity with VAT and local compliance is a strong advantage.
• Comfort using cloud-based accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic reporting dashboards.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and create processes in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic language ability is an added advantage.
• Must already be located in the UAE and available to work during UAE business hours.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SaaS, technology, fintech, or other high-growth startup environments.
• Experience working with multi-entity or multi-country business structures.
• Previous involvement in fundraising support, investor reporting, or board packs.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are beneficial but not required.

Additional Information

Location: Abu Dhabi / Dubai, UAE.

Work arrangement: Hybrid or remote within the UAE.

Employment type: Full-time.

Salary range: AED 37,000 to AED 45,000 per month.
