Role Summary
The Finance team is hiring a driven Financial Analyst to support its FP&A activities. The position is centered on creating and maintaining reporting systems that inform business decisions across the company. The selected candidate will gather data from several systems, turn it into dependable outputs, and help leaders monitor performance and make strategic choices.
This opportunity is best suited to a professional from a technology or SaaS environment who can work quickly, produce high-quality deliverables, and take full ownership of the output.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, combine, and validate financial and operational information from different systems, including NetSuite and project management platforms, to generate accurate and timely reports.
- Develop and update recurring weekly reporting packs such as utilisation, project profitability, revenue, and ad hoc analyses.
- Monitor data quality across source systems, spot input errors, and address root-cause issues rather than only correcting the output.
- Manage the full reporting data flow from understanding the right structure to delivering the final report.
- Prepare consolidated reporting at the group level across locations such as the UAE and Malaysia.
- Assist in budgeting through data support, analysis, and financial modelling.
- Keep financial records and supporting documents organised so they remain ready for audit review.
- Work with colleagues in HR, Delivery, and other teams to obtain the inputs needed for reporting.
- Use AI-enabled tools and automation to improve the speed and efficiency of reporting processes.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a comparable position.
- Experience in a technology or software business, including familiarity with SaaS measures such as ARR, NRR, and similar performance indicators.
- Practical expertise with Tableau or another data visualisation platform.
- Exposure to ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Proven ability to automate financial reporting workflows.
- A recognised finance qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent, or a postgraduate qualification in Finance; applicants with strong experience in tech companies may be considered even without formal certification.
- Strong productivity and output orientation, with the ability to deliver accurate work under tight timelines.
- A high sense of ownership and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality.
Preferred Background
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude or similar platforms to support or automate financial tasks.
- Exposure to consolidated reporting across multiple entities.
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Experience working across several geographies or within a regional finance setup.
- Previous work in project-based services or professional services businesses.
