Mindrift is hiring a freelance Presentation Designer for the Tendem project. The work centers on polished storytelling for an AI-assisted workflow, where repetitive tasks are handled by Tendem Agents and you contribute advanced judgment, subject-matter depth, and strong formatting skills to produce high-impact presentations.

This is a part-time remote opportunity suited to creative professionals experienced in visual communication, information design, and narrative-driven slide design.

What you will do

In this freelance role, you will shape clear, visually compelling presentations and one-pagers by combining storytelling, hierarchy, and precise design execution. The role calls for the ability to turn complex material into persuasive, elegant deliverables using tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma.

Core work

• Create high-stakes pitch decks and polished one-pagers adapted to the needs of different audiences.
• Convert dense information and data into simple, visually structured narratives with a minimalist approach.
• Refine slides with tailored typography, smooth motion, and consistent visual treatment.
• Maintain a refined corporate-meets-creative look across all final assets.
• Review layouts carefully to ensure alignment, timing, visual balance, and brand consistency before delivery.

Requirements

• About 2+ years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a similar creative discipline is an advantage.
• Strong command of presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote for building detailed, animated decks.
• Advanced ability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom layouts and graphics.
• Proven skill in transforming complex data and layered information into clean, easy-to-follow visual stories.
• Strong typography and animation abilities for premium, refined presentation work.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
• Experience producing premium, corporate-style visuals with a creative edge is needed.
• Very high attention to detail and a commitment to impeccable presentation quality are expected.
• Ability to work independently, solve design problems, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• A portfolio link showing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization must be included in the CV; applications without this will not be considered.

Compensation and time commitment

This project is estimated to require around 10 to 20 hours per week during active periods. The estimate is not a guaranteed workload and applies only while the project is active.

Contributors may earn up to $50 per hour equivalent on this project, depending on skill level and contribution pace. Payment levels may differ on other projects.
