About the Opportunity

This opening is for a new outlet launching in August 2023 at The Seletar Mall. The employer is looking for team members to support both service and kitchen operations. Prior experience is not required, as full training will be provided.

The role is open to Singapore citizens only. The business uses halal-certified suppliers.

Compensation and Hours

Part-time pay can go up to S$14.00 per hour, with public holidays paid at twice the rate, reaching up to S$28.00 per hour. Full-time pay can go up to S$2,600 per month on a 5-day work week, and full-shift allowances are included.

A fully sponsored Food Safety Course is provided. Additional staff benefits include meals, annual performance bonuses, weekend allowance, attendance allowance, monthly sales incentives, referral rewards, and overtime paid at 1.5 times the basic hourly rate. Terms and conditions apply.

Service Duties

In the service side of the role, you will handle day-to-day front-of-house operations such as taking orders, processing payments, recording daily sales, serving food and beverages, and answering reservation calls.

You will also be expected to deliver strong customer service, respond professionally to feedback, maintain a neat personal presentation and hygiene standard, follow company SOPs, keep work areas clean and sanitary, assist with food and drink preparation, complete opening and closing routines, and take on other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Kitchen Duties

Kitchen support includes preparing and cooking food efficiently and in line with the company’s SOPs. You will need to consistently meet food safety, quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, keep the kitchen safe and orderly, clean preparation surfaces and equipment, and carry out other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

Applicants should be customer-focused, self-driven, disciplined, and able to work well with others. Good organizational and interpersonal skills are important.

You should be comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment, have a responsible and positive attitude, and be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Basic spoken English is needed for communication.
