Labourer

About the role

This position sits within the company’s nationwide non-mechanical hire division, which supplies equipment such as crowd control barriers, scaffolding, and road plates for event work as well as construction, utilities, and infrastructure projects.

What the job involves

Based in the depot, the Labourer will keep the workshop and yard neat, organised, and free from hazards. The role also includes making sure tools are stored properly, cleaning equipment thoroughly before it leaves the depot, and preparing items for delivery by loading them onto vehicles.

What the company is looking for

Applicants should already have experience in a labouring role, ideally in a hire depot or yard setting. You should be comfortable working as part of a team, willing to help with other tasks when needed, and able to stay focused while working independently in a busy environment. Good attention to detail is important. A CSCS card, forklift licence, and driving licence would be an advantage.
